Besides the European Barometer on HR released on a yearly basis, the EChr is a content producer at several level. Members gathers in task forces to build a common message and to deliver it to the HR community and EU policy leaders.

Committee on the management of executives (C3D)

The management of top level employees is a major concern for presidents and general directors of companies. Looking for the right talents needed at the top of the enterprise and making sure that they can adapt to the changing situation of an enterprise is a specific challenge. Although each company has its own specificities, the rapid and complex changes the economy is facing and the socio-cultural evolutions are common to all and imply that executives can quickly adapt themselves and find appropriate strategies for their company.

The C3D committee is therefore a specific forum to exchange on the current challenges top executives have to face and on strategies that can be developed in companies to respond to current trends. It is a very practical approach on current changes impacting companies and it allows confidential exchanges on how to manage them.

 

EChr position papers:

Labour law - 2007
The EChr delivered a position paper on labour law in 2007. The objective is to take a position on the Commission’s consultation regarding the modernisation of labour law.

 Task Forces:

Taskforces are specialised working groups investigating strategic questions. They produce precise recommendations for companies and for EU policy-makers.

  > European Business Mobility Network (2005)

It is created with the view of improving mobility of the workforce in Europe. It focuses on company practices in order to identify and exchange best practices, design innovative solutions for business and policy makers.

 > Task force on Mobility in co-operation with CEPS (2004)

The task force is a forum for an effective interaction between business executives, academics and other stakeholders. It addresses the key challenges to international mobility. The objective is to produce a study presenting the trends in labour mobility, identifying the driving forces and obstacles to geographic mobility in Europe and building an actionable
