The European Club for human resources releases on a yearly basis a European HR Barometer exploring the evolving role of the Human Resources function across the region. The report is based on a research carried out among leading companies operating in Europe by Hewitt Associates. This initiative contributes to a better understanding of the most critical issues affecting people management in Europe, and provides new insight on the way HR supports corporate performance.

Key topics of the 2010 edition of the Barometer

The objective of the 5^th European HR Barometer is to present :

• the changing business drivers and priorities of people management for 2010-2012;
• the impact of actions taken to face the crisis, new plans and expectations for 2010;
• the assessment of performance of HR-related activities and changes foreseen in the organization ; and
• the priorities expressed by HR leaders for the EU policy agenda.
